The IRGC Public Relations Department issued a statement early on Friday regarding the attacks on Israeli targets and US bases in the region.
It said the forty-fourth wave of Operation True Promise 4, under the blessed code “Ya Sadiq al‑Wa’d”, was launched in honor and remembrance of the martyrs of Tariq al‑Quds (path of al-Quds), especially the commander of resistance martyrs Lt. General Qassem Soleimani, Abu Mahdi al‑Muhandis, the great fighter Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, Sayed Hashem Safieddine, Ismail Haniyeh, and Yahya Sinwar, on the eve of International Quds Day, targeting American‑Zionist enemy bases.
“This continuous and extensive operation, using large numbers of precision‑guided and super‑heavy missiles — Khoramshahr, Kheybar‑shekan, Fattah, Emad, and Ghadir — as well as precision‑strike drones, destroyed regime targets in northern occupied territories including Kiryat Shmona, Hadera, and Haifa, and also struck the US Fifth Fleet and other bases of the US terrorist army at dawn on the twenty‑third day of the holy month of Ramadan,” the statement said.
“A different International Quds Day will be witnessed. The liberation of Quds is near, and victory is within reach for the freedom‑seekers and oppressed peoples of the world,” the statement went on to say.
