According to Al‑Mayadeen, quoting Israeli media sources, the state of emergency was declared at Ben Gurion Airport at the same time as two military aircraft were seen flying over Tel Aviv.

Some media outlets have reported a technical malfunction or damage to a US refueling aircraft over Iraq, with attempts being made to land it in Tel Aviv.

It comes as Iranian retaliatory missile strikes against targets in occupied territories continue.

Earlier, Israeli news sources reported that Iranian missiles reached the vicinity of prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office in occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem) in West Bank.

According to the Israeli network "I24," Iranian missiles struck locations in occupied Al-Quds, coming within meters of Netanyahu's office.
