What does the Noble Quran say regarding this categorization?

When a Jew witnessed the unity of the Muslims in Medina, especially between the two tribes (Aws and Khazraj), he planned and assigned a group to provoke them by recalling past memories. The Messenger of God (PBUH) called for calmness, warned them, and informed them of the enemy’s plot. Verses 98-100 of Surah Al Imran were revealed in this regard.

The Noble Quran states: “O you who have believe, if you obey a party of those who have been given the Scripture, they would turn you back [from faith] after your faith as disbelievers.” (Al-Imran: 100). The intended “party” refers to a group of Jews. The phrase “back [from faith] as disbelievers” also clarifies how Muslims become disbelievers by the incitement of Jews. It’s possible that “disbelief” here refers to the enmities of the Jahiliyyah period, as faith is the source of love and brotherhood, and disbelief is the source of division and enmity.

In reality, this verse warns Muslims that if they are influenced by the poisonous words of the enemy and heed their temptations, it will not be long before their faith is destroyed and they return to disbelief. This is because the enemy first strives to ignite the fire of hatred among them, set them against each other, and continue their temptations until they are completely alienated from Islam.

In the following verse, it is stated: “And how would you disbelieve while verses of Allah are recited to you and His Messenger is among you?” This means that when the Prophet (PBUH) recites the verses to you, listen carefully and ponder them. If you cannot understand, refer to the Messenger (PBUH). Acting upon this verse in our time means that to refute the suspicions that Jews instill, one should adhere to the verses of God and refer to the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH). Therefore, Muslims worldwide must be discerning about which side they stand on in the conflict between Iran and the American-Zionist regime.
