That is, the believers are examined with disbelievers, and as a result of their growth, the disbelievers became afflicted with believers.
The Holy Quran, in Verses 140-141 of Surah Al-Imran, which deals with the events of the Battle of Uhud, presents a process perspective. This perspective goes beyond a cross-sectional analysis, as if instilling a worldview and explains a four-stage process: 1. Separation and alignment between believers and disbelievers, 2. Modeling and raising the flags of guidance, 3. Internal refinement and purification of believers, 4. Gradual destruction of disbelievers.
Of course, these stages occur simultaneously; That is, when some people are going through “And may Allah know those who believe,” others are going through “And may Allah take witnesses from among you.” While the believers are going through “And may Allah test those who believe,” and the disbelievers are going through “And may Allah deprive the disbelievers.”
There is also a relationship between the gradual destruction of the disbelievers and the testing of the believers, and the higher the level of faith, the stronger the level of disbelief; that is, the higher disbelief is the result of the actions of the believers who have become more pure. In other words, the believers are examined with the disbelievers, and as a result of their growth, the disbelievers became afflicted with the believers. A higher level and a new disbelief appears. Just as Satan was afflicted with Prophet Adam and fell to the bottom of the lowly.

According to Allamah Tabatabaei, the destruction of the disbelievers began with the Battle of Uhud and ended with the conquest of Mecca. Just as the investigation is gradual, the right is also gradual. Israel had a history of disbelief and murder for many years, but it reached the worst level of disbelief in genocide, infanticide, starvation and thirst of a nation.
US President Donald Trump, who had previously ordered the assassination of martyr Soleimani, also killed the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the great intellectuals of Islam; therefore, the end of their gradual destruction is certain and very close.
