Past wars were usually fought on the country’s borders, but modern battles are no longer limited to geographical borders, and the stage of wars has completely changed. Today, all people are involved in this war, and if an event occurs or a bombing happens, all people are affected.
Verse 120 of Surah Al-Tawbah refers to various forms of struggle and their rewards: “That is because whatever they suffer from thirst, hunger and fatigue in the cause of Allah, or whatever they tread that enrages the disbelievers, or whatever they attain from an enemy, it is all recorded for them as righteous deeds. Indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of the doers of good.”
Applying this verse to today’s conditions includes the numerous struggles of the people:
1- The general public who experience thirst, hunger, or endure hardship and suffering on this path.
2- Revolutionary people who, by gathering in squares or marching in the streets, take a path that enrages the infidels.
3- The combatants of Islam who are taking revenge on the enemy on the battlefields.
Allah the Almighty registers a reward for each of their deeds. It is narrated that Gabriel informed the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) that whoever from his Ummah goes out for jihad in the way of Allah and a drop of rain falls on his head or he gets a headache, Allah writes the reward of a martyr for him.

Therefore, everyone can strive in their own position; even those who were frightened and anxious by the roar of missiles or the sound of air defense, if they endure these conditions with patience and steadfastness, they share in the reward of the martyrs.
