On Wednesday, the Israeli regime targeted various areas throughout Lebanon, including the capital Beirut, killing at least 182 people and wounding 890 others, according to a preliminary toll offered by the country's health ministry.
A subsequent toll put the number of the fatalities at 254 and those injured at 1,150.
In a message, IRGC Quds Force Commander Brigadier General Esmaeil Qaani condemned the attacks.
“The history of the Zionist regime is full of crimes against humanity and the killing of innocent men, women and children. The criminal and child-killing Netanyahu, with his brutality, wanted to prove in Lebanon today that he is more brutal and heartless than his humiliated master, America,” he wrote.
“The enemy should know that a severe and regret-inducing punishment awaits him,” he stressed.
