Pre-Session of Modern Islamic Civilization Festival Slated for Tuesday

IQNA – The International University of Islamic Denominations, in cooperation with the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, is holding the 10th pre-session of the Modern Islamic Civilization Festival on Tuesday.

The vitural meeting will take place with a focus on countering Islamophobia and Iranophobia, and with the participation of a group of prominent domestic and international scholars and researchers, with the aim of examining solutions to counter Islamophobia and Iranophobia.

This specialized meeting seeks to explain the civilizational position of the Islamic Ummah and examine solutions to counter biased narratives against Islam and Iran.

Speakers at the meeting include Sharif Abu Shamaleh (CEO of the Quds Foundation in Malaysia), Samer Abdullah (Director of the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the Lebanese University), Ayatollah Ahmad Moballeghi (Member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts), Mohammad Amin Taqvi Fardud (Member of the Faculty of Imam Sadiq University), Mohammad Ali Rabbani (Director General of Scientific and Academic Cooperation at the Islamic Culture and Relation Organization), and Maryam Gholami (Director General of the International Scientific Cooperation Office at the International University of Islamic Denominations).

The meeting will take place in Tehran on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 3:00 PM local time (Lebanon: 2:30 PM, and Malaysia: 4:30 PM).
