
It was organized by the Quran Education Center affiliated with the Dar-ol-Quran of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine, in cooperation with the Imam Kadhim (AS) Faculty of the University of Baghdad.
According to the website of the Astan, Ali Taleb, head of the Quran Education Center, said that the program began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Sayid Abdullah Zuhair Hadi, the reciter and muezzin of the Husseini and Abbasi shrines.
He noted that in a speech, Dr. Abdul Jalil Manshad Khalaf, dean of the Imam Kadhim (AS) Faculty of the University of Baghdad, welcomed the Husseini shrine delegation and emphasized the faculty’s commitment to organizing effective Quranic activities to raise students’ awareness.
Khalaf praised the role of the Dar-ol-Quran of the Astan in implementing beneficial projects.
Also, Sheikh Dr. Khairuddin Ali Al-Hadi, the head of the Dar-ol-Quran of the Astan, in an educational and moral speech, referred to the verses of the Quran and the Hadiths of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS), and discussed the importance of connecting young people with the Quran and the role of the Husseini shrine in supporting students and strengthening religious identity.
The festival also included a thematic memorization section, which was carried out by a group of students from the Dar-ol-Quran in Baghdad and supervised by Tha’ir Al-Kaabi.

The program ended with the presentation of a plaque of appreciation and gifts to the graduates by members of the board of the Astan and officials of the Imam Kadhim (AS) Faculty.
