
It was organized by the Babylon branch of the Dar-ol-Quran affiliated to the Astan of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine.
Kazem al-Ma’mouri, head of the branch, told the Quranic media center of the Astan that the gathering was held with a large attendance of the residents of the region and the students of the seminary.
He said Sayed Abdullah Husseini recited verses from the Quran at the program and Sayed Saeed al-Husseini, the representative of the religious authority in Babylon, delivered a speech.
A speech by Sheikh Khair al-Din Hadi, head of the Dar-ol-Quran affiliated to the Astan, was another part of the program, during which Sheikh Hadi explained the role of the Quranic gatherings in strengthening the foundations of belief and the necessity of remembering the sacrifices of the martyrs and taking steps on their path to serve religion and society.
According to Ma’amouri, Quran recitation by Yasin Ali Hadi, a teenage qari and memorizer of the Quran, and the recitation of poetry by Abbas Al-Zamili, one of the poets present, with the concept of loyalty and sacrifice for the homeland, were other parts of the program.

He stated that the event ended with the distribution of certificates of appreciation by the Dar-ul-Quran of the Astan among the participants in recognition of their efforts in organizing this Quranic program.
