According to NNA-leb, the competition, which was organized in a spiritual atmosphere, brought together students, parents, and religious and social activists from Tripoli, Akkar, and northern Lebanon.
This year’s competition was particularly well received by students, with 3,660 male and female students from 205 schools participating.
The participants were evaluated by 140 specialized committees, and the competition organizers considered the reception of this event to be an expression of the growing concern for the growth of the new generation based on Quranic values.
In his remarks at the closing ceremony, Fawaz Omar, president of the Lebanese Islamic Education Association, referred to the successful holding of the 42nd competition and thanked the families of the participants for their efforts to instill religious values among their children.
Sheikh Mohammed Imam, Mufti of Akkar, emphasized in his speech that the competition is a pioneering model in educational and religious activities, and the widespread participation of students shows its importance and status in northern Lebanon.
