The Quran competition was held within the framework of the nationwide Quran memorization competitions in Russia, and the first congregational prayer was also held in this mosque during the ceremony.
At the same time, the Mufti of the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic officially awarded the title of ‘Grand Mosque’ to this religious center.

The ceremony was attended by thousands of guests from different regions of Russia and representatives of a wide range of Islamic and social institutions. The attendees were led by Sheikh Suleiman Samidinov, a representative of the Religious Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Imam of the Krasnogvardeysky District and Head of the Quran Memorization School affiliated with the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea and Sevastopol.
In his speech, Sheikh Suleiman Samidinov emphasized the importance of the unity of the Islamic community and the preservation of authentic religious values, saying this mosque will not only be a place for prayers, but will also become a center for religious education, charitable activities and social service.
