The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the United States’ largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s atrocities.
At least five people were murdered in an Israeli attack on a wedding tent in Gaza City.
Also, Israeli soldiers opened fire on a vehicle near Hebron (Al-Khalil) in the West Bank, killing the baby and wounding both parents.
In a statement, Washington, D.C.-based CAIR said:
“The murder of a seven-month-old baby by Israeli forces in the illegally-occupied West Bank and an Israeli massacre at a wedding in Gaza are horrific crimes that should shock the conscience of every person. No military force that repeatedly kills children, medical workers, journalists, and civilians – using American taxpayer-supplied weapons – should continue to enjoy impunity or the support of our own government.
“We call on our government and the international community to stop enabling these atrocities and to take concrete action to protect Palestinian civilians, end the occupation, and uphold international law.”

On Friday, CAIR called on members of Congress to demand the immediate release of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, a Gaza doctor and hospital director in Israeli detention since December 2024, who has reportedly been moved to solitary confinement despite being held without charges.
