Imam Reza Shrine to Host Arbaeen Quranic Event

IQNA – A Quranic event aimed at honoring the lofty status of the martyrs, promote the culture of the Quran and the Ahl-ul‑Bayt (AS), and officially launch the Arbaeen Quranic programs, will take place in the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) on Wednesday with the presence of Quran reciters, memorizers, activists, and enthusiasts.

Coinciding with the commemoration of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the martyrs of the Third Imposed War, and the start of Arbaeen Quranic programs, this Quranic event, titled “With the Quran on the Path to Paradise” is organized by the Quranic Activities Committee of the Arbaeen Cultural Headquarters.

This ceremony, attended by a group of national and international Quran reciters, memorizers, and scholars, will take place from 5:00 to 6:30 PM local time in the Imam Khomeini (RA) portico of the holy shrine.

In this Quranic gathering, prominent qari Javad Panahi and Quran memorizer Reza Golshahi will recite verses from the Holy Quran. A performance by the “Nasim Rezvan” choir group will also be part of the program.

In another segment of the ceremony, Hojat-ol-Islam Mahmoud Mohammadian, who is a Quran memorizer, along with distinguished qaris Reza Shahmiveh and Javad Soleimani, will recite additional verses from the Holy Quran.

According to the organizers, the ceremony will be broadcast live on the Quran and Ma‘aref TV channel as well as Radio Quran.
