The city of Skardu in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan hosted the 33rd Interfaith Dialogue Conference on the theme “Hussrin for All”.

The conference witnessed the extensive participation of a group of prominent scholars, researchers, thinkers and religious and social figures, as well as a large audience from different parts of Gilgit, Kashmir and other parts of Pakistan, representing different sects, schools of thought and religions.

In their speeches, the participants emphasized that the thoughts of Imam Hussein (AS) serve as a solid foundation for establishing the values ​​of peace, justice and unity, strengthening the rapprochement between religions and sects and spreading the culture of tolerance and mutual respect. They also emphasized the importance of preserving the historical heritage of peaceful coexistence, brotherhood and social harmony that is characteristic of the Baltistan region and efforts to preserve and strengthen it in all circumstances.

The speakers emphasized that the uprising of Imam Hussein (AS) is an enduring symbol of truth, justice, freedom, peace and preservation of human dignity. They affirmed that his blessed life provides a practical model for strengthening the unity of the Muslim community, fostering interfaith rapprochement, and creating a culture of tolerance, coexistence, and mutual respect.

At the end of the conference, the participants called for increased dialogue between followers of different religions and faiths and for strengthening the values ​​of social harmony and national unity.

They emphasized that the teachings of Imam Hussein (AS) represent a moral and humane foundation that contributes to the spread of a culture of peace, justice, and coexistence among different peoples and societies.
