Cuba Denounces Israeli Killing of Palestinians in Gaza amid Media Silence, US Backing
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez on Friday condemned the Israeli occupation's continued killing and destruction in the Gaza Strip, demanding an end to Israeli crimes.
Rodriguez wrote in a post on his X platform account: "Israel continues to kill Palestinians in Gaza, taking advantage of the silence of the mainstream media and the impunity provided by its supporter, the United States government."
He also noted that "the number of martyrs has reached 73,250 Palestinians, while the number of wounded has risen to 173,751. Since the ceasefire agreement was reached, the Israeli army has killed 1,127 Palestinians."
Rodriguez added: "This is compounded by the destruction of hospitals and water infrastructure, deepening the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip."
The Cuban Foreign Minister also called for an end to Israeli crimes in Gaza, saying: "It is time to put an end to this brutality and the genocide being perpetrated against the Palestinian people."
