Egyptian Satellite Network Program Features Quranic Stories for Children
In this episode, a section titled "Stories from the Holy Quran" was presented with the aim of simplifying religious concepts for children.
This episode dealt with the story of Prophet Solomon (AS) and concepts related to witchcraft, Akhbar Al-Youm reported.
The program also explained the dangers of arrogance and lack of appreciation for God’s blessings by reviewing the story of Qarun in the previous episode. Qarun was a person in ancient Egypt who committed sins and arrogance and ultimately suffered the fate of being swallowed by the earth.
The Naas satellite network program also presented an educational message from “Messages of Sheikh Al-Azhar to Children” that emphasized the importance of emulating Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in character and behavior, not just in appearance, and cited verse 31 of Al-Imran: “Say, if you love Allah, then follow me, and Allah will love you.”
The Noor program also emphasized the values of mercy, honesty, and humility, and in the section “The Story of Professions in the Era of the Companions,” it examined examples of important occupations in the early Islamic period.
Citing verse 60 of Al-Anfal, “And prepare for them whatever force you can against them [the enemies],” the section emphasized the importance of work and productivity, and referred to the archery and arrow-making skills of one of the companions of the Prophet (PBUH), as well as the role of another in spear-making.

The section included artistic and creative parts such as “Make Yourself” and “Talents of Friends,” along with an audio story from the Juha stories (a collection of authentic Arabic tales).
And the story “The Emerald Land,” which conveyed messages about honesty, the value of work, and sincerity, emphasized the importance of using blessings properly rather than wasting them.
