Malaysia international Quran competition

The event, officially titled Malaysia International Al-Quran Recital and Memorization Assembly (MTHQA), is organized by Malaysia’s Department of Islamic Development (JAKIM). It was first launched 1961. Over the years, this annual gathering has evolved to include both Quran recitation and memorization, attracting talented reciters from dozens of countries.
