Muslims in Australia represent a small but growing segment of the population. According to the 2021 Census, there are approximately 813,392 Muslims in Australia, making up about 3.2% of the total population. The Muslim community in Australia is diverse, comprising people from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds, including those of Lebanese, Turkish, Afghan, and Indonesian descent.Islam is the second-largest religion in Australia, following Christianity. The community has established numerous mosques, Islamic schools, and cultural centers across the country.
