According to the Public Relations Office of Iranian Academics’ Quranic Organization, affiliated to the Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR), preparations are underway for the 7th International Quran Competition for Muslim Students. This initiative builds on 39 years of Quranic activities by the ACECR, with the support of dedicated scholars and activists in this field. 

This year’s event comes following six successful editions of the competition, which hosted participants from over 85 countries and had a significant impact on Quranic and cultural engagement across the Islamic world.

The preliminary stage of the competition will take place online via virtual platforms in March of this year. In this regard, coordination is in progress with various embassies to introduce student representatives for participation in two categories of Quran recitation and memorization of the entire Quran, exclusively for male university students. 

A special section focusing on “Quranic Technology and Innovations” has been introduced for university scholars from the Islamic world. The winners of this category will be honored in person during the final round of the competition. 

This prestigious event offers a valuable opportunity to promote Quranic culture among Muslim university students worldwide, fostering academic and cultural exchanges.
