Muharram Exhibition in Afghanistan

On the occasion of Muharram Month, an exhibition titled “Marthiye Khorshid” (elegy of sun) was opened in Ghazni city of Afghanistan.

According to IQNA’s branch in West Asia, the exhibition was opened on the third day of the month by Fajr Culture Center.

Dissemination of mourning culture and teachings of Ashura in the society is the main objective of the exhibition.

Various kinds of flags and black curtains with inscriptions on Muharram and martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS) as well as books, CDs/DVDs and movies on the occasion have been put on display at the exhibition.

It hosts visitors every day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time until November 17.
