50,000 Sign up for Thematic Memorization of Quran
Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Mohammad Kazem Mousavi told IQNA that they will memorize verses of the Quran based on the themes of the verses.
He said those who have signed up for the courses have been divided into three age groups of 7 to 12, 13 to 18 and above 18 and that for each group, certain verses are selected for memorization.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mousavi noted that 150 books have been published by the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization to help the learners memorize the Quran based on the theme of the verses.
He added that those taking the courses will take an exam and after passing the examination will receive certificates of memorization of the Quran.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mousavi went on to say that registration for thematic memorization of the Quran is still underway and will continue until November 21.
