“Imam Ali (AS) and Quranic Sciences” Seminar in Najaf

A specialized seminar titled “Imam Ali (AS) and Quranic Sciences” was held on December 7 in the holy city of Najaf.


According to the information website of Imam Ali’s (AS) Holy Shrine, the seminar was organized as the second edition of a series of programs planned on Imam Ali’s (AS) heritage by the religious office of the custodianship of the holy shrine.



Sheikh Hassan Rabi’i, member of the organizing committee of the seminar, said that the results of the specialized seminars focusing on Imam Ali’s (AS) thought will be collected in the form of an encyclopedia of Islamic sciences to be published in different languages.



Also addressing he program, Saleh Al-Taiee, researcher in Islamic sciences stressed that Imam Ali (AS) was the first person who compiled the Holy Quran’s verses immediately after the demise of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
