According to the information website of Imam Hussein’s (AS) holy shrine, the exhibition was opened on the occasion of Arba’een (40 days after Ashura) in cooperation with the custodianship of the holy shrine and Shia cemeteries in Iraq.
Mohammad Al-Shamri, head of the information section of Zayd ibn Ali (AS) shrine in Karbala, said that a collection of photos and paintings have been presented at the exhibition by representatives from Iraq, Bahrain, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Kuwait and Lebanon.
The holy city of Karbala is going to host some 20 million mourning pilgrims on the day of Arbaeen this year.
