The central city of Isfahan is set to host the third international conference on Divine faiths next week.

Hojat-ol-Islam Habib Reza Arzani, an official with the committee to hold celebrations marking the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory, made the remark in a meeting with the governor of Isfahan province, adding that the theme of the conference this year will be introducing the potentials of the Islamic Republic for different faiths, IRNA reported.
He said moderation and rejecting ethnic and sectarian violence will be the approach of the conference.
The cleric noted that representatives from Armenian Christians, the Jewish community, Zoroastrians and Assyrian Christians will take part in the international event.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Hojat-ol-Islam Arzani said that despite the anti-Iranian propaganda, there are more than 200,000 followers of monotheistic faiths (apart from Muslims) living in Iran and that all of them acknowledge the existence of full religious freedom in the country.
