The World Association for Al-Azhar Graduates’ branch in India will hold Quran memorization sessions in various parts of the country in the near future.

According to albawabhnews, the sessions will be organized under the supervision of Sheikh Nazar Al-Hafiz Al-Nadwi Al-Azhari, head of the branch and Hadhiq Naseri, representative of the branch in Bihar State of India.

The decision has been made taking into account the lack of mosques, schools and religious centers particularly Quran teaching institutes for children in the state.

Head of the association considered the sessions as an opportunity for dissemination of Islamic teachings and the invitation of Islam to tolerance among non-Muslims of the region.

He noted that the association will spare no effort to continuously hold such sessions in these regions.

A group of representatives of the branch also visited the victims of the last month tensions between Muslims and Hindu citizens and provided them with aid and comfort.
