Iranian MP, Nasrallah Discuss Regional Developments
In their meeting, Baroujerdi and Nasrallah discussed the latest developments in the region, Al-Alam news network reported.
The Iranian MP also held talks with Lebanese president and prime minister during his visit to Beirut.
In meeting with the new Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam, Boroujerdi hoped that Lebanon will manage to surmount the problems it is facing.
He underlined that Iran supports the unity and stability and the resistance movement in Lebanon and Syria.
During his visit, Boroujerdi also met with Lebanon’s Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.
Speaking to reporters after talks with Berri, Boroujerdi said the Lebanese officials agreed with Iran that the only solution to the crisis in Syria was a political one.
