Imam Hussein (AS) Quranic Center to Be Established in Karbala
Imam Hussein (AS) Quranic Center will be established in the holy city of Karbala, head of the Strategic Projects and Investment Department of Husseini (AS) holy shrine announced.
According to the information website of the holy shrine, Manaf Fouad said that Al-Sibtayn (AS) Company will implement the project, which is expected to cost 80 billion Iraqi Dinars.
The center will be constructed 5 kilometers from Karbala on the Karbala-Baghdad road, he said.
The official added that the project will complete in three years.
He said the center will have two faculties of Quranic sciences and Islamic studies for male and female students.
A language laboratory, publication department, Quran radio, conference hall, restaurant and book fair will be among other parts of the three-storey complex.
