On the 25th anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s (RA) demise, the first educational workshop of "sublime art" was held on May 24 by the Iranian Cultural Center in Tunisia.

According to IQNA’s branch in Africa, the workshop titled “Ruhollah” (first name of the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran) was opened with the participation of Tunisian artists, experts, art teachers and students.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Ramezani Golafza, Iranian cultural attaché in Tunisia, said that the workshop was a good opportunity to introduce Imam Khomeini’s (RA) thoughts and viewpoints about the world and creation.
He said that Imam Khomeini (RA) creates a great evolution in the field of sublime art.
Ramezani noted that the prudent view of the late founder of the Islamic Republic about women in social, art and cultural fields has established a new school of thought in the contemporary era and stressed that the noble thoughts of Imam Khomeini (RA) should be disseminated.
At the program, Zohre Razughi, an eminent Tunisian artist, was honored. She has mastered one of the Iranian painting styles titled “Abr-o-bad”.
She thanked the Iranian center for holding the workshop and considered it as a positive step towards introducing Iranian-Islamic art in Tunisia.
She has completed educational art courses held by the Islamic center and succeeded to won top ranks in various art competitions in Algeria, the UAE and Turkey.
A forum on “woman and sublime art in view of Imam Khomeini (RA)” was held on the sidelines of the workshop.
