Actress Embraces Islam

A famous Indian actress who has worked in 70 films converted to Islam on May 30, 2014.

 Formerly known Monica, Raheema converted to Islam due to appreciation for Islamic way of life.

She conducted a press meet at the RKV Studio where she said, “I started my career in cinema as a child artist, completed 70 films in cinematic industry. I have done it with your full support. The word thanks is not enough for your affections," she said, according to the Indian media.
She added, “I didn’t convert for the reason of love or money, I am not such a person. I like Islamic principles, so I converted to Islam."
