Quranic Festival Planned in Thailand

A festival titled “Quran; Book of Guidance and Awareness, and Sublime Manifestations of Divine Art” is planned to be held by Iranian Cultural Center in Bangkok, Thailand.

 According to IQNA’s branch in South East Asia, the Quranic program will be held on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam Hassan (AS) on the 15th day of the holy month of Ramadan.

The International Propagation Center affiliated to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) and Islamic and cultural centers in different parts of Thailand will also cooperate to hold the festival.
Quranic arts exhibitions and workshops are planned to be mounted during the festival with the cooperation of the ICRO's General Office for Cultural and Art Cooperation.
Mahdi Irani, an eminent Iranian calligrapher an expert of illumination, will teach in the workshops.
“Salam” Iranian Quranic Group is also scheduled to perform Tawasheeh (choral religious singing) in the festival.
The Quranic program will kick off on July 13.
