OIC Condemns Israel’s Decision to Confiscate Palestinian Lands in West Bank

The Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Iyad Ameen Madani, expressed strong condemnation of Israel’s confiscation of 400 hectares of Palestinian lands, west of Bethlehem in the West Bank.

He emphasized that continuation of the policy of confiscating lands, and building and expansion of Israeli settlements were aimed at creating new realities on the ground, which is a grave violation of international law and international legitimacy resolutions.

Madani called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and take position to end Israel’s violations and ongoing attacks on the Palestinian people, lands and holy sites.
