Winners of Beirut Quran Competition Awarded

Top participants in the 12th edition of Beirut Quran competition were awarded Lebanon’s Najib Miqati prize.

 According to lebanonfiles website, the winners were granted "Najib Miqati Awards" in a ceremony in Beirut.

It was organized by the “Iqra” Center for Islamic Studies affiliated to “Al-Irshad wa Al-Islah” Islamic Charity Association in Lebanon.

Abdul Fattah Khattab, representative of the former prime minister, Waseem Al-Maghrebel, head of the association, official members of the association and a number of scholars and people of the region attended the ceremony.

This edition of the Quran competition was held last week in various parts of the country.

Participants competed on memorization of the entire Quran, memorization of 20, 10, 6 and 3 Juzes (parts) and memorization of one Juz of the Quran.

71 Quran memorizers from different cities of Lebanon were selected as winners and were awarded in the ceremony.
