--Members of the country’s Prayers Headquarters make a visit to the Prisons, Security, and Correction Organization (PSCO) today to get familiar with Quranic activities there.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Mohsen Rabbani head of the PSCO’s Dar-ol-Qurans (Quran Houses) told IQNA that the Members of the Prayers Headquarters in their visit which will last until noon will get familiar with inmates’ Quranic activities and observe the way mass prayers are held in prisons.
“There was a meeting this morning attended by the Prayers Headquarters’s members in which plans for promoting inmates’ Quranic knowledge, holding Quran and Nahj-ol-Balaqa Instruction courses and holding Quran reading sessions for inmates were discussed” he said.
Mr. Rabbani added that a memorandum of cooperation was signed between PSCO and Prayers Headquarters to help foster Quranic teachings among inmates.
