Brunei Beribi Religious School Holds Khatam Al-Quran
-- The Beribi Religious School Brunei III held a "khatam al-Quran" ceremony for Level VI students yesterday, to mark the completion of the reading of all 30 juz of alQuran.
The event was held at the multipurpose hall of the International Graduate Studies College in Kiulap.
The guest of honour at the ceremony was Ustazah Hjh Fatimah binti Hj Abd Ghani, Assistant Director of the Islamic Institute, who also led the recital of Surah al-Fatihah to mark the beginning of the event.
The khatam al-Quran and "takhtim" ceremonies were led by Cikgu Salmah binti Jaafar, while Ridhwan Akmal bin Abdul Majid was on hand to read the "doa khatam".
The event ended with the presentation of participation certificates to the students.
