Imam Ali (AS) Encyclopedia Exhibited at Hozeh Specialized Book Fair
-- The 13-volume Encyclopedia of Imam Ali (AS) published under the supervision of Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Akbar Rashad has been presented at Hozeh Specialized Book Fair.
It is a thematic source on the character, tradition and thoughts of Imam Ali (AS) as well as the events of his time and those after his martyrdom.
It is the fourth edition of the 6000-page collection which has been published in 12 volumes by the Islamic Culture and Thought Research Center.
130 main entries and about 3000 subentries have been included in the encyclopedia compiled by over 200 scholars and intellectuals from Hozeh and universities.
It has been selected as the Book of the Year of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the best religious research in the country and the Book of the Year of Hozeh and Velayat Book of the Year.
Ayatollah Abdollah Javadi Amoli, Seyyed Morteza Askari, Seyyed Ja’far Shahidi, Reza Ostadi, Seyyed Ja’far Morteza Ameli, Reza Davari, Seyyed Ja’far Seyyedan, Ali Rabbani Golpaygani, Seyyed Mohammad Reza Modarresi, Mohammad Hadi Ma’refat, Mohammad Sorush, Rasul Ja’fariyan, Seyyed Mostafa Mohaghegh Damad, Ali Davani, Mohammad Ali Sadat, Mahdi Mehrizi and Mohammad Ali Javdan are among the authors of the collection.
Beside the 12 volumes, there is one more volume titled “Preface” including the main preface of the work, thematic indexes, abstracts of articles and biography of those who cooperated in compilation of the work.
