The federation had earlier announced that it will hold the training program and workshops for Muslim youth today, June 7, 2026, with the aim of supporting religious and social participation and strengthening their Islamic identity in Korean society, the Muslimsaroundtheworld website reported.
In South Korea’s relatively small but growing Muslim community, young people are seen as the cornerstone of the future of Islam in the country. At the Seoul Central Mosque, educational and training programs that combine religious knowledge with character building and strengthen a sense of belonging and identity continue.
The KMF said that the program will be held in the lecture hall on the first floor of the Seoul Central Mosque’s annex building.
The program is aimed at middle and high school Muslim youth and includes educational activities, roundtable discussions, and workshops that address issues related to Islamic education, career paths, and future youth activities.
The organizers of the program announced that in addition to providing a space for dialogue, communication, and exchange of experiences among members of the Muslim community, the program aims to increase youth participation in Islamic activities and foster their sense of belonging and identity.
The gathering is expected to help create a network among Muslim youth in South Korea and encourage them to actively participate in educational and outreach programs under the supervision of the KMF.
