Head of Quran and Etrat Center of the Ministry of Medical Education, Mahdi Salehi told IQNA that the festival would be held in the categories of recitation, memorization, Quranic concepts and interpretation, as well as research and artistic fields.
“We had sent announcements to all the university’s branches and would eventually choose Hamedan Medical Sciences University as the most qualified branch among others to host the event.”
Referring to the remarkable improvement of the Quranic festivals held by the Ministry of Medical Education, Salehi said that “The written section of the Quranic Festival held for the university’s staff and professors was attended by over 6000 participants, and this shows that we can encourage more participation via extensive information dissemination.”
