
The course was held thanks to the efforts of the Mirth al-Anbiya Seminary Studies Center in Najaf, affiliated with the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department of the Astan of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine, Al-Kafeel reported.
It organized this virtual course through online platforms with the participation of 180 students from inside and outside Iraq.
Sheikh Hussein Al-Turabi, the director of the center, said the course included the presentation of lessons and discussions on Quranic sciences.
Al-Turabi said the center chose the book “Methodology Lessons in Quranic Sciences” by Sayyid Riyad Al-Hakim to teach in the course due to its scientific accuracy, and the students participated in direct discussions under the supervision of expert professors to ensure the correct reception and application of the material.

The goals of this course were to develop the scientific skills of researchers and students, to disseminate a sound scientific method for understanding the text of the Quran and Quranic sciences, and to connect believers with the views of prominent scholars and jurists, he noted.
This course included key topics in Quranic sciences, its history, the miracles of the Quran, preserving the Quran from distortion, and the principles of interpretation.
