Jones’ Demonstration in front of Dearborn Islamic Center Goes on with Participation of Few People

He's accused of spreading hate. Controversial Pastor Terry Jones brought his biased message back to Dearborn Saturday. Jones said it is a free speech issue, and a federal judge agreed.
The Florida pastor rallied in front of America's largest mosque -- the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn. Only a small crowd turned out.
"The appeasing of the Muslim community, we think that's very dangerous. Once that starts, were does it stop? The way that they have done with the school system, the halal meals, costing the community over $200,000 a year. Special privileges at airports, at universities," said Jones.
Jones says he will not burn the Koran this time, but defending burning the Koran in the past.
Jones rallied outside Dearborn City Hall last June. He did not ask for police protection this time but Dearborn officers volunteered their services assisted by Detroit Police and State Police. He did not say whether he plans to return again in the future.
