A Quranic Q and A session was held in Omdurman, the largest city in Sudan, with the participation of Hasan Zarnusheh Farahani, Iranian representative at the 4th edition of Khartoum international Quran contest.
According to IQNA’s ICRO branch, the session was organized by Iranian Cultural Center in Sudan with the aim of introducing Quranic activities of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Sudanese students.
The program began with Quran recitation by Farahani and continued with a speech by Alireza Fadawi, Iranian cultural expert in Sudan, who congratulated the participants on the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and noted that the Holy Quran as a Divine book revealed to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a guide for all human being towards salvation.
He further described Sudan as a Quranic country and called for fostering the culture of the Holy Quran across the country.
Since the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, the country’s Quranic activities have developed significantly, given the efforts to fulfill the guidelines set by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
The Iranian Quran expert then answered questions and doubts put forth by Sudanese students in Quranic issues.
