Tawasheeh Contest Planned in Tatarstan

A Tawasheeh (choral religious song) contest will be held on February 23 by Tatarstan’s Office for Muslims’ Religious Affairs in Bugulma.

According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, the competition will be held in cooperation with the country’s Organization of Religious Affairs and Tatari Cultural Center.
Disseminating Islamic values and Tatar Muslims’ traditions in the region and preventing the spread of extremism in society are among the objectives of the contest.
Various age groups of people can register to participate at the contest individually or in groups.
