New Islamic Civilization, Theme of Next Year’s Nat’l Festival of Quranic Studies
The theme of next year’s National Quranic Studies Festival for University Students will be the new Islamic civilization.
Secretary of the festival Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Mehdi Taqavi made the remark on Tuesday while addressing the closing ceremony of this year’s edition.
He said the next edition of the festival will be held with the theme of the new Islamic civilization pivoting around the statements made by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution about the civilization.
According to Hojat-ol-Islam Taqavi, the festival has a purposeful direction focusing on the Islamic-Iranian model of development, which has been emphasized by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
He underlined that Imam Khamenei has referred to making discourse as the main strategy for materializing the Islamic-Iranian model of development, noting that the festival has, therefore, made attempts to promote the discourse and spread generation of science.
Managing director of the Iranian Academics’ Quranic Activities Organization added that the outcom of the festival’s efforts in terms of generation of knowledge has been published in a scientific-research journal.
He thanked the individuals and organizations cooperating in organization of the festival, especially the Supreme Leader’s Representative Office in Universities, and the Quran and Etrat Deputy of the Culture Ministry.
Hojat-ol-Islam Taqavi went on to say that holding the festival is a scientific and thought-based move that has been welcomed by the youth.
