Longest Copy of Quran Kept in Najaf Museum

The longest copy of the Holy Quran, which is kept in Khazaen Museum in Najaf, is going to be registered in the Guinness book of world records.
According to Sheikh Muhammad Karbasi, an official with the museum, the copy measures 10,000 meters in length, Dar-al-Hayat daily reported.
He said the longest Quran copy in the world has been calligraphed by 3 prominent calligraphers of Najaf.
Karbasi added that the museum also holds a rich archive of documents in different languages including Turkish, Persian and English.
The documents feature administrative correspondence of the Iranians, the Ottomans and the British army, he stated.
