Culture Minister Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini said “Quranic Lifestyle” has been selected as the motto of the 21st Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition.
Speaking in a press conference on Tuesday, July 2, he added that the motto has been chosen following the commands of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution about the need for promoting Quranic lifestyle .
The press conference was also attended by the ministry’s Quran and Etrat Deputy Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Mohammadi.
Mr. Hosseini said the Quran exhibition will kick off on Friday, July 5, concurrent with the 26th day of Sha’aban on the Hijri lunar calendar, and continue for a month.
He said the Quran expo is the country’s longest exhibition in duration, which shows how well Iranians receive Quranic and religious activities.
According to the minister, the exhibition is not only for Quran activists but for all groups of people, describing the expo as a Quranic university.
He noted that a few days after its inauguration, the exhibition could be visited online by those who cannot visit the spiritual event for different reasons.
Hosseini also said that many artists present in the exhibition will present their works and create new works in fields such as calligraphy, with the theme of Quranic lifestyle.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the culture minister stated that 1 million copies of the Quran printed in the Islamic Republic of Iran are planned to be distributed in other countries to thwart baseless allegations made by the enemies of the Islamic Establishment that the Quran of Iranian Shi’ites is different from that of other Muslims.
