Malaysia to Host Quran Competitions for Deaf Students

Center of Quranic Research (CQR) and Quran Education Foundation for Special Children plan to organize an event known as Musabaqah on Quranic for Deaf Students 2013 (MTQ'13).
The Competition will be held on 5-6 July 2013 (Friday & Saturday) at Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
This competition is the first time ever held in the world. It aims to create an awareness among our community to this special group of people (disabled children) and able to open the people's mind that this disabled children also have high potential and capabilities in learning Al-Quran.
Categories of Competition are Recitation, Memorization, Writing Khat al-Quran and Nasheed by using hand code.
Students from National Primary School for Special Education (Deaf) all over Malaysia will participate in the Competitions.
