Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was not only reciting the Holy Quran to his followers, but also implementing its teachings, and closely training and supervising their compliance as well.
This was the message of a lecture by Kuwaiti scholar Sheikh Talal Fakhir delivered on ‘How Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was training Muslims to achieve set objectives’ on Sunday night.
The lecture, fourth at a rich cultural program of 22 lectures, is part of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award, 17th session at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
There shall be three remaining lectures out of nine assigned. These shall be given by Dr Ruqaia Hareb, Dr Nawal Al Eid, and Dr Fooz Kurdi.
They shall be talking about ‘the impact of Prophet’s Sunnah on our life’, ‘Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) biography’, and ‘how important it is to follow the Prophet to be loved by Allah’.
There will also be seven lectures in Bengali, Malayalam and Tamil.
