Kazakhstani Myftiyat Calls for Participation in Quran Recitation Competition
Spiritual Administration of Kazakhstani Muslims announced the 5th National contest on Quran reciting and Azan.
Categories of the contest are as follows: 30 chapters (reciting the entire Quran); 10 chapters (reciting the 1/3 part of the Quran); 5 chapters (reciting the 1/6 part of the Quran); Expressive reciting of the Quran with the rules of Tajwid.
Children from 15 to 25 years who are citizen of the Kazakhstani Republic will participate in the contest.
Regional centers of the Spiritual Administration of Kazakhstani Muslims will submit list of candidates until August 17.
Quran Recitation Contest will be held from August 21-23, 2013 at the Central Mosque of Almaty. August 14-16 will be held regional qualifying rounds.
Participants who will pass the qualifying rounds will take part in the national competition.
