General Direction of Islamic Awakening Movement Is Towards Victory
There are fluctuations in the Islamic Awakening movement in the world but it is moving forward and its general direction is toward victory.
Foreign ministry’s strategic affairs expert Mohammad Hassan Qadiri-Abyaneh made the remark on Friday, July 26, in a forum at the 21st International Holy Quran Exhibition, adding that the Islamic Revolution of Iran, too, faced different ups and downs like the killing of people by the Shah’s regime, the arrest of Imam Khomeini (RA), etc, but the movement finally achieved victory.
Titled “Fostering Quranic Teachings in Continuation of Islamic Awakening”, the forum was organized at Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayer hall).
Referring to the famous statement by the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran who, before the collapse of the Soviet Union, said “I hear the breaking of the bones of communism”, Mr. Qadiri-Abyaneh stated, “I am not saying that I hear the breaking of the bones liberalism because it (is so loud) that it is deafening the world.”
He said the world is moving towards a multi-polar one and the unipolar world is meaningless today. “Japan, China, India and US allies are trying to turn from an ally to a rival for the US.”
The former Iranian ambassador to Mexico and Australia pointed to the spread of the Islamic Awakening movement and said the movement will create a great Islamic bloc, which will be the biggest in the world.
He noted that the West was aware of this since long ago and tried to prevent it by fomenting discord and spreading disunity among Muslim countries.
Qadiri-Abyaneh underlined that today, the United States and the West are in decline and the Muslim World and the Islamic Republic of Iran are moving forward.
He said with the defeat of communism and liberalism, people in non-Muslim countries are confused as to what direction they should take, stressing that the current situation is a good opportunity to transfer the Islamic Awakening movement to the West by introducing the true Islam to the people of the West.
