Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei referred to reaching a just, developed and spiritual society as the main ideal of the Islamic Establishment.
Speaking in a meeting with a large number of university students on Sunday, July 28, the Supreme Leader added that a just society is one in which both the officials and people act justly.
Some 1000 students attended the meeting and a number of them talked about different scientific, academic, cultural, social, economic and political issues.
Imam Khamenei answered some of the issues mentioned by the students and then clarified the relation between ideals and realities as well as the responsibilities of the university students.
His Eminence underlined the need for considering the realities and problems of the country, stressing that political, academic and labor forces of the country should cooperate to move the country ahead.
The Supreme Leader also warned that differences of opinion should not turn into hostility and spitefulness.
His Eminence further said the Islamic Establishment has a series of ideals that have different priorities.
Imam Khamenei referred to reaching a just, developed and spiritual society as the number one ideal of the Islamic Establishment and underlined that this ideal is quite achievable and good progress has already been made towards it.
“Such a society will be a role model for Muslim and non-Muslim countries,” the Supreme Leader underlined.
His Eminence referred to achieving resistance economy, health in society, superior industry and agriculture, progressive science and cultural and political influence in the world as other ideals of the Islamic Establishment.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Imam Khamenei pointed to the attempts by the enemies of Islam to foment discord between Shia and Sunni Muslims, underlining that Shi’ites form the natural base of the Islamic Republic but the enemies are unaware that in many countries, Sunni brothers defend the Islamic Establishment more enthusiastically.
