Promotion of Contemplating the Quran, Should Be Main Priority of Quranic Activities
Head of the Quranic Society of Tehran province said the main priority of the society’s Quranic activities should be promotion of contemplating the Quran.
Speaking to IQNA, Mohammad Reza Pourmoin said the need for reflecting on the concepts of the Quran has been emphasized in the Holy Book itself.
He also said Quran reciters and memorizers ought to work to spread the culture of contemplating the Quran in society.
Pourmoin regretted that Quranic activities organized by government bodies are not effective enough in terms of promoting Quran contemplation.
He stressed that everyone, including government bodies and individuals, should try to foster the culture of reflecting on Quranic teachings.
